Your first flight
- Hold your iPhone in landscape orientation and open Single Player.
- In Flight setup, select Cessna 152 and Vesivehmaa. Choose a starting point and flight conditions.
- Choose Runway for an aircraft with the engine running, Final for an approach, or Apron for a cold and dark start.
- Tap Start flight. Use the on-screen controls and swipe the outside view to look around.
Before you fly
Which devices does MR Flight support?
MR Flight is designed for iPhone in landscape orientation. It requires iOS 17 or later and an A12 Bionic chip or later. See the App Store listing for device compatibility.
How do I control the aircraft?
Use the on-screen flight controls and swipe the outside view to look around. Throttle, mixture, trim and flaps are controlled on screen. No external controller is required.
Can I fly without an internet connection?
Yes. Single Player flights at Vesivehmaa and saved-flight review work offline after installation. This website, support email and feedback forms need an internet connection.
How do I start my first flight?
Choose Single Player, select Cessna 152 and Vesivehmaa in Flight setup, then choose a starting point and conditions. Runway starts with the engine running; Apron starts with the engine off. Tap Start flight when ready.
Which languages are available?
The simulator interface and these support pages are in English.
What is included in the purchase?
MR Flight costs €0.99 as a one-time purchase on the App Store. Prices may vary by region. Cessna 152 and Vesivehmaa are included, with no subscription, trial or ads. Future maps and aircraft will be optional paid content. They are not available to buy in this release.
How do I save and review a flight?
Save your session and open it from My flights. The flight report shows your route, flight phases and landing data. Choose 3D to follow the aircraft, move the camera and scrub through the flight.
Why does a flight start with the engine off?
The Apron starting point gives you a cold and dark aircraft. Choose Runway or an airborne starting point if you want to begin with the engine running.
What can I do if the app closes or a flight does not start?
Open MR Flight again and try the same starting point. If it happens again, email your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, selected aircraft, starting point and conditions. Tell us whether the app closed or returned to Flight setup.
Where are my saved flights?
Saved sessions are listed in My flights and stored on your device. Export any recordings you want to keep before deleting the app. Files you have already shared are separate copies.
About this simulator
MR Flight supports personal simulator practice. It is not an approved flight training device and does not replace an instructor or an aircraft's approved flight manual.
